Name: Semic Press (subsidiary of the worldwide Egmont Group).
Personal dates: Founded in Sweden in 1950 as a comic book subdivision of the publishing company Bonnier AB and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Serieförlaget). Sold to Egmont in 1997.

The series premiered in 1970*. Stopped in 1972 after 22 issues.

This Swedish magazine consists of diverse jungle related action stories featuring series such as Jim Kane (AKA Kalar), Kilroy, and Saber.

* Initially, the series premiered in 1967 under another publisher. The first issue published by Semic was #13 in 1970.
