The series premiered in 1991. Stopped in 1997 after 12 issues.

The series consists of several short stories of a pseudo-biographical nature, in which the creator, Julie Doucet, tends to her daily life. The term Plotte can be perceived as French Canadian slang for a sexy girl, a prostitute, and the female genitalia.
