The series premiered in
1984. Stopped in 2004.
Dick Hérisson (the surname actually
means Hedgehog in French) is a private
investigator working in France sometimes around
1930. He solves difficult and intricate criminal
mysteries, and he has the journalist Jerome
Doutendieu at his side most of the time.
The series contains subtle examples
of Savard's reverence for other, similar series
such as Harry Dickson (observe the
similar titles). He especially pays tribute to Tintin
in different ways; for instance, you will be able
to find small graphic references to the series
scattered around in the panels.
