MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2006. Stopped in 2012 after 23 issues.

The main character in this 19th century series is the teenager Allen Walker, who has the ability to destroy monsters via his special powers which include a disfigured left arm that can transform into a claw. The monsters feed on innocent people, and Walker mostly uses exorcism to neutralize the threats.

According to the creator, Katsura Hatshino, the enigmatic title of the series was just a term she made up and it has various meanings.
