Personal dates: Founded in Germany in 1988 by Jürgen Janetzki (1943-2009). Stopped in 2000 but continued from 2006 as Splitter GmbH & Co. by Horst Gotta, Delia Wüllner-Schulz, and Dirk Schulz. Ongoing.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1987. Stopped in 1998 after 11 issues, but was continued by two other publishers from 2002 to 2003 (additional 4 issues) and 2009 (additional 1 issue).

The series takes place in  the 13th century's Japan, in which the young samurai Tchen-Quin receives the task of patrolling the border, but soon he is swept into the part of China that is conquered by the Mongols.
