MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2001. Stopped in 2013 after 10 issues.

The story takes place in Rome during the second half of the 1700s. Cardinal Trebaldi and his guard search for a young man, a holy relics dealer named Armando Catalano, who challenges the cardinal's authority. He bears the so-called Mark of the Devil, a birthmark in the shape of a scorpion, which leads to the cardinal's wish to track him down and destroy him.
