MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1954. Stopped in 1955 after 20 issues.

The series' main character is Frisco Smith, an undercover policeman working for a railway company. Smith - who is better known as Der Schwarze Reiter (The Black Rider in English) - emerges as a skilful gunman in a Mexican outfit, and he tracks down criminal elements in the Old West.
