MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1983. Stopped in 1987 after 8 issues.

The initial story is about a 12-year old American boy, Alec Ramsay, who meets a wild, black Arabian stallion and they eventually bond. In the series the nameless horse gets involved in dangerous adventures.

The series is based on the American books named The Black Stallion, that were later published in Germany under the title Blitz der Schwarze Hengst.
