MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2005. Stopped in 2006 after 8 issues.

A year ago an alien spacecraft crashlanded in Tokyo Bay, and now a searchparty from the craft's planet comes looking for the lost crew. The searchers are seen by the population as 150 human-like, friendly females and they mingle in order to obtain information. A nerdy 17-year old male student, Takeya Ikuhara, is befriended by one of the aliens, and he takes her under his wing naming her Ren. 

The series' title is a combination of the words Dear and FriendS.
