MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2008. Stopped in 2014 after 6 issues.

The fantasy story takes place in ancient China in which the Wolkenvolk (Cloud People in English) is facing destruction due to their sinking sky island if they fail to find a mysterious substance on Earth. The intrepid youngster Niccolo Spini sets out to get the lifesaver but he has to face flying swordsmen, mighty dragons, and powerful magicians on the way.

The series is based on a trilogy novel series by German author Kai Meyer.
