MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1988*. Stopped in 1989 after 14 issues, but has been briefly revived a few times since then.

The title character is the Catholic Father Michael Tremaine, who unknowingly transforms into a fierce werewolf-ish creature at night based on an ancient Germanic knight named Wulfgar. Tremaine tries to hunt down a thousand years old Satan worshipper named Abraxis, who has gained eternal life.
