Comments: Novick always signed his series 'Irving Novick' and not 'Irv Novick' as often referenced. Novick also worked on many other series such as Batman and Wonder Woman, but he stopped drawing in the 1990s due to increasingly poor eyesight.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1946. Stopped in 1953.

Cynthia Blake is a pretty young woman married to Jeffrey who is a lawyer. The series is absolutely non-violent and rather static (no sudden moves, as it were); we follow the couple's daily life with emphasis on Cynthia's diverse jobs through time (among others she works for a radio station, a fashion magazine, and a newspaper). During the series she gives birth to twins nicknamed Dicky and Ricky, a decision of which her mother-in-law does not approve! Jeff's visiting sister also proves to be quite a mouthful. Cynthia spends most of her time helping friends in distress as well as sorting out annoying opponents.
