MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1989. Stopped in 1990 after 8 issues, but has been briefly revived several times since then.

The main character's real name is Yō Hinomura. He has been kidnapped and heavily tattooed by a Chinese mafia known as 108 Dragons to perform as their assassin. As he has been hypnotized to kill people he must comply, but he shed tears after each killing as a sign of remorse.
