MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1984. Stopped in 1988 after 26 issues.

The title character is a Los Angeles bail bondsman named Jay Endicott, who assumes the identity of a slain criminal but now performing as a superhero.

The series must not be confused with a similar titled series featuring William Cross.
