MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1950*. Stopped in 1974.

The starring character, Corentin Feldoë, is a Breton orphant, who flies from a brutal uncle and ends up in India, from where he embarks on several adventurous journeys. Later he befriends the Indian boy Kim and the Rajah of Sompur's daughter Sa-Skya, where he finds his new home.
The series, that takes place at the end of the 18th century, is special thereby that Corentin starts out as a young boy and then slowly ages into being a man at the end of the series.

* Initially, the series was created in 1943 and made its first short appearance in 1946.
