MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1929. Stopped in 1944.

The title character Connie, originally named Constance Kurridge (sounds like Courage), is an attractive and intelligent blonde aviator who divides her time between helping people in need (mostly inventors), and leading perilous expeditions fighting criminals all over the globe. Later on, space travels and science fiction adventures were added to her list of achievements.
In the first years the series was accompanied by a small bottom strip by Godwin called The Wet Blanket. Connie was never a great series mostly due to Godwin's difficulties with the construction and the writing of interesting stories.
