MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1992. Stopped in 1994 after 20 issues, but has spawned numerous shortlived series since then.

The series is inspired by the many Star Wars films that premiered from 1977 featuring numerous characters such as Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Han Solo, Leia Organa, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Luke Skywalker. The series' new written stories are supposed to take place between the first and the second film.
