MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1990. Stopped in 1991 after 19 issues, but was revived from 2010 to 2011 (additional 8 issues).

The title characters function as detectives and crimefighters for diverse characters in distress, and they are aided by their mouse friends Gadget Hackwrench and Monterey 'Monty' Jack as well as Zipper the firefly.

The series is a spinoff from a TV cartoon series that ran from 1989 to 1990 (59 episodes).
