MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1939.

The official law and order in the Mouse universe is represented by Seamus O'Hara, a goodhearted and strict - but somewhat absentminded - police chief. In the stories he seems mostly to assist Mickey Mouse and Goofy in their crime-fighting, and this is also true when Super Goof is on the scene. One of O'Hara's recurring 'guests' in the prison is The Phantom Blot.

The stories were/are written by an overwhelming number of artists. Examples: Floyd Gottfredson (1905-1986), Guido Martina (1906-1991), Carl Robert Fallberg (1915-1996), Donald 'Don' Ragnvald Christensen (1916-2006), Victor 'Vic' Lockman (1927-), Ivan Saidenberg (1940-2009).
