MAIN STORY

The title character in this historical thriller was the wealthy and influential Roman lawyer Lucius Aurelius Cassio, who became the victim of an apparent conspiracy in which he was brutally stabbed to death by 4 mysterious men in 145 A.D.
Now, almost 2,000 years later, a young Roman archaeologist named Ornella Grazzi takes it upon herself to try and piece the ancient events together and solve the puzzling murder.
