MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2002. Stopped in 2006 after 37 issues.

This is a sports series describing the adventures of a young Japanese soccer team headed by Tsubasa Oozora. The stories mainly focus on his relationship with the team, the training sessions, and the intense football matches.

The full title of the German series is Captain Tsubasa Die Tollen Fussballstars. The appendage means The Great Footballers in English.
