MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1950. Stopped in 1955 after 42 issues.

The series features an adventurous sea captain known as Tornado, who has been commissioned by the French King to rid the high seas of menaces such as Arab pirates and Spanish marauders, so that his merchant ships can operate in peace.
