MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1985. Stopped in 1995.

The character of Calvin is a 6-year old hyper-active boy who lives in a universe not unlike the one created for Charles M. Schulz's Peanuts; just like Schulz Watterson describes a child's thoughts and experiences in an adult tone. The series' other character is a stuffed tiger who comes to life when nobody (except Calvin) is looking.
The two are interacting in various ways, but usually Calvin is the more mischievous and investigative character, whereas Hobbes is the down-to-earth type used to set Calvin straight.
