MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1987. Stopped in 1988 after 8 issues.

The stories circle around a group of young girls from California, who try to raise money for fashion clothes. To that end they dive into diverse potentially celebrity creating ventures. Some of the recurring girls are Laverne Laverne, Lulu Mendoza, and sisters Max and Mo Muldoon.
