Comments: The name of the corporation (Williams is spelled without an apostrophe) derives from the son of Albert R. Kanter who founded Classics Illustrated in the USA.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1967. Stopped in 1976 after 114 issues (at first published as 60 continuously numbered issues, then continued from 1972 featuring 11-12 yearly issues numbered from #1).

The stories consists of heroic war tales describing Allied soldiers fighting in World War 2.

Must not be confused with the Danish series titled Brigadeserien.
