MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1946.

The title character is an anthropomorphic fox, who lives in the woods and makes life rather troublesome for the other inhabitants. His best friend is Brer Bear, a dimwitted bear, who usually manages to unintentionally spoil Fox' many schemes. A contributing reason for the foiling of Fox' plans is the bright and resourceful Brer Rabbit, who likes giving the two culprits the runaround.
