The series premiered in 1959.

This humourous series is comprised of short stories featuring Boule, a 7-year old boy, and Bill, a cocker spaniel. They are inseparable companions who liven up their neighbourhood not to mention Boule's parents Pierre and Carine.
Roba named Boule after his own son, who was nicknamed Bouboule, and his family had the same kind of dog with the same name as in the series.
