The series premiered in
1989.
The story takes place during the so-called
Cold War following World War 2 and tells about a
young citizen, Yuri, from the Soviet Union, who
gets indoctrinated with the communist way of
thinking. He is then sent to the capitalistic USA
as a spy by the name of Billy.
From birth Yuri had a disfigured upper lip, a
fact that gave the story its title, that means
Mouth of the Devil in English. He was later
operated by KGB doctors.
