MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1962. Stopped in 1970 after 37 issues.

The Old West series stars a widowed patriarch, Benjamin 'Ben' Cartwright, who owns the Ponderosa ranch near Lake Tahoe in Nevada. At his side he has three sons: Adam, Eric 'Hoss', and Joseph 'Little Joe'. Together they solve all problems connected with the spread as well as other occurring problems in their surroundings.

The series is a spinoff from  a TV series that ran from 1959 to 1973 (430 episodes).
