MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1996. Stopped in 2007 after 131 issues*.

This manga series is set in feudal Japan a few hundred years ago, when samurais were the most famous warriors. The main character is the immortal swordsman Manji, who is also known as the Hundred Man Killer as well as Mister Twelve Blades, both references to his warrior skills.

* A parallel series by the same title was launched in 1997 and is still ongoing.
