MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1957*. Stopped in 1983 after 145 issues.

In this series the notorious - and historical - outlaw William Bonney known as Billy the Kid manages to stay on the right side of the law for most of the time. Thus he is portrayed as somewhat of a Wild West hero, who deals effectively with villains and other bad elements.
