MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1974*. Stopped in 1987 after 24 issues.

The starring character is a fictional British schoolboy attending Greyfriars School. He carries a dramatic overweight, and he is lazy, obtuse and self-important, but he is also cheerful, helpful and generous.

* The main character was introduced in 1908 in England titled Billy Bunter. The first 11 issues in the series on this page (1963-1974) came from another Dutch publisher thus the numberings start at #12.
