MAIN STORY |
The series premiered in 2004. Stopped in 2006 after 14 issues. The stories mainly evolve around diverse Japanese and overseas tournaments to demonstrate and compete with a special sports-related object called Beyblade, which is basically a spinning top with a launcher, and the aim of the game is to get one's own top to spin the longest time. One of the many contestants is a young boy named Takao Kinomiya with the alias Tyson Granger. The series was developed in 2000 to promote the sales of a special spinning top called Beyblade (or Explosive Shoot Beyblade) in Japan. Later on a large number of animated TV cartoons followed. |
