MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1965*. Stopped in 1985 after 992 issues, but has since been continued in several new series.

The title character is a collie of the female gender. She is a very intelligent and brave dog that often rescues both people and animals from dire straits. She is owned by the young cowboy Andy Cayoon.
The series might be perceived as a spinoff of Lassie, but no child characters are present, and the events take place in the Old West.
