The series premiered in 2001. Ongoing.

This pocket-sized manga fantasy series tells the story about the mercenary swordfighter Guts who battles his way through medieval Europe. Despite the loss of a forearm and an eye he is an extremely fierceful and efficient opponent.

A series containing almost double as many pages and titled Berserk Max was published from 2006 to 2013 (18 issues).
