CREATOR

B.C. is highly unusual just because of its setting in time (the title itself means Before Christ, but it is also the name of the primary character). It is set in an undeterminable prehistoric age where cavemen and dinosaurs live together. In many of the stories Hart has substituted his many main characters for a variety of different animals (snakes, birds, ants, clams...) that deliver the punchlines.
The series is held in a simple and linear drawing style, and the dialogue is very expressive. Furthermore, the plots and punchlines are constant parallels and commentaries to today's world and problems.
