MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2003. Stopped in 2008 after 27 issues.

The stories (that have a large number of sub-stories) take place in a post-apocalyptic Japan known as Basara. The protagonist is a 15-year old girl by the name of Sarasa, who is attempting to revenge her twin brother Tatara, who was killed by the forces of a tyrannical ruler known as the Red King.
During her mission Sarasa manages to gather support for her cause by hiring warriors for her Tatara Army.
