The series premiered in 1982. Stopped in 2012 after 17 issues.

The stories - that are divided into 4 sections and an epilogue - take place in a fictitious universe that goes in and out of time. The focus is on a medieval lost swamp kingdom known as Gatheldoc, and a contemporary society in 21st century's Paris. Some of the occurring characters are Aline, Ariane, Arthis, Blanche, Joachim, and Rabal.

The French title means The Walk at the End of the World in English.
