Personal dates: Founded in 1934 by Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson (1890-1968) as National Allied Publications, but the name changed in 1937 to Detective Comics (later shortened to DC). Stopped in 2011.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1995. Stopped the same year after 11 issues.

This drama series unfolds in space in a distant future, and most of the action takes place in the 5 mile long Babylon 5 space station, which is a center for trade and diplomacy and inhabited by alien ambassadors and Earthlings.   

The series is based on a TV series that ran from 1993 to 1998 (110 episodes).
