Personal dates: Founded in 1946 as a division of Charlton Publications. Stopped in 1985. Founders were Ed Levy and John Santangelo.

Comments: Charlton published stories from all genres of the comic book universe. The company was known for its low-budget activities that included the publishing of previously unpublished material from bygone companies.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1955. Stopped in 1958 after 11 issues*.

The starring character is protecting the citizens of Rabbitville from evil by means of his superhero powers, which he acquires from eating radiation U-235 carrots.

* Another series starring a seemingly similar rabbit started in prolongation of the series and ran to 1959 (8 issues).  It was called Atomic Bunny.
