MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1952. Stopped in 1962 after 41 issues.

The title character is a goodnatured panda who is dedicated to helping other characters in need in often bizarre adventures. To that end he is sometimes accompanied by a sidekick named Charlie Chicken.

The series is based on an animated short cartoon series that ran from 1939 to 1949.
