MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1993. Stopped the same year after 36 issues, but continued until 1996 as a weekly magazine titled Die Tiere aus dem Talerwald (130 issues).

The animals from Talerwald have their habitat destroyed by humans, so they decide to migrate to the untouched Hirschpark.

The series is based on a British TV cartoon series titled The Animals of Farthing Wood that ran from 1992 to 1995 (39 episodes).
