MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2001*. Stopped in 2004 after 8 issues.

The series consists of independent, erotic stories mostly featuring a girl named Alraune who is fixated - and cursed - with sexual obsessions. The term Alraune is German for the root known as Mandrake in English.

* The stories are loosely based on a 1918 German novel set in medieval times by the same title, and this in turn was made into a modern-day version German comic book series starting in 1998 later to be reprinted as the series in this page.
