Comments: The corporation's flag logo was introduced in 1949. It changed colours incessantly thus the one depicted to the left is just an example.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1947*. Stopped in 1949 after 9 issues, but is still ongoing in the newspapers.

The series' title character is a caveman from the prehistoric kingdom of Moo. He has the ability to travel in time, and he has visited numerous ancient cultures throughout the years. The series is also a satirical tale of contemporary USA.
Alley Oop's name derives from the French circus phrase Allez, Hop meaning Let's Go in English.
