CREATOR

The series takes place in the Roman empire in the days of Julius Caesar. Alix Crassus, who is a convert from the Gaulian provinces, travels the vast empire on various missions - mostly in an advisary capacity - with his Egyptian friend Enak. Here they overthrow unrightful dictators and unjust Roman generals, and they help local tribes and maltreated slaves. Their missions sometimes even take them outside the boundaries of the empire to such places as India and China.
Being a historian Martin pays great attention to the overall authenticity of his stories; locations, buildings, clothing, and so on are meticulously drawn.
