MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1948. Stopped in 1990.

This has been one of the most popular pantomime strips in the world. It features a Latin looking husband (supposedly by the name of Alfredo, but we do not know for sure because the characters never speak!), who is an incorrigible womanizer - a fact that he always tries to hide for his wife - and the stout wife who only occasionally has an inkling of the goings-on.
But the series has much more to offer; the character of Alfredo is basically a lazy nobody who often wanders around doing surrealistic things, and from time to time he even interacts with the frames of the strip.

The original title of the series was Violinvirtuosen Alfredo (Violin Virtuoso Alfredo), although it premiered in France under the name of Presto. Later it was known worldwide as Alfredo.
