MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1988. Stopped in 1992 after 50 issues.

The starring character is a bear-looking alien by the name of Gordon Shumway, but he is mostly known as Alf (an abbreviation of Alien Life Form). He once crashed in a small American town with his spaceship, and has now found refuge in the home of the Tanner family, who try to hide and protect him. Alf, on the other hand, tends to be somewhat of a menace, as he does not necessarily have the same values as his new friends.

The series is built on a TV series that ran from 1986 to 1990 (99 episodes).
