The series premiered in
1982.
This is a magical fantasy series set
somewhere on a planet in Space. Attackers drain
the life force out of the inhabitants, but a
child is born nevertheless - but without arms and
legs. While growing up he manages to survive
aided by survivors, animals, and elves, and he
uses his considerable magical powers against the
attackers. As time goes on, Alef-Thau slowly
regains his physical arms and legs.
The full title of the series is Les
Aventures d'Alef-Thau.
