Name: Carlsen Comics (European comics corporation).
Personal dates: Founded in Denmark in 1899 as P.I.B. by Hjalmar Carlsen (1875-1951) and has since then changed name several times. It has subsidiaries in several European countries. Ongoing.

Comments: The corporation has always focussed on childrens' literature from diverse countries. The pages in this site are all examples from the German branch named Carlsen Verlag.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1996. Stopped in 1997 after 8 issues, but was continued from 1998 to 1999 (additional 12 issues).

The stories are a mixture of  puzzling crimes of the more mysterious types and dealing with aliens of many sorts all under the auspicies of the American FBI. The dominating characters are agents Fox William Mulder and Dana Katerine Scully.

The series derives from the original American TV series called The X-Files that aired from 1993 to 2002.
