Personal dates: Founded in Sweden in 1950 as a comic book subdivision of the publishing company Bonnier AB and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Serieförlaget). Sold to Egmont in 1997.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1973*. Stopped in 1987 after 15 issues, but continued titled Agust och Lotta. Ongoing.

This annual Swedish album series consists of humorous stories in a matrimonial environment. The main character is the rich but somewhat inept Agust Vråk, who constantly seeks refuge from his dominating wife Lotta Svensson by wandering off to parties, dances, and card games. The series has similarities to Bringing Up Father.
